Returns
We take the upmost care with the packing of our plants - they are our babies, but we understand that sometimes it's just outside of our control how they arrive. If under any circumstances they arrive looking anything but healthy and lush, please get in contact with us on the day of delivery with some photos to accompany the issue, and we'll work out the best course of action.
If after some nursing and TLC they still don't look healthy, or if they have arrived too damaged, then we will of course replace with like for like plants.
Returns can be freighted to our nursery located at: 1053 Teven Road, Tuckombil, NSW, 2477.
Refunds
We offer full refunds if you change your mind if the shipment has not yet left the nursery. Once however the plant has left the nursery and is in transit, we are no longer to offer a refund on the freight charges.
You may also choose to return the items - this will be at your own shipping cost. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or your payment gateway again. Our shopify accounts provide immediate refund and return it to your original payment provider (eg. credit card, bank account, paypal, zip etc). Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted (some take up to 30 days). Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@bambooworld.com.au.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. We typically ship early in the week, so as to avoid boxes sitting in warehouses. Keep an eye out for your tracking link once the item is shipped.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
