Deep green culms (poles) striped with a lighter green / yellow, with starburst clusters of leaves on each twig. Forms a dense, clump relatively upright clump. Makes an excellent living screen or hedge. Native to China.

A cultivar of the Oriental Hedging bamboo species. Cold tolerant.
